Immediate Treatment of Gunshot Wounds

$208.00

Group Training Session

A five hour training session to introduce the layman to the basic aid which needs to be rendered to a gunshot victim in the home, hunting cabin, street, while hunting or on the shooting range. We will also present a detailed plan for rendering aid to victims in hazardous or high threat situations.

THIS IS NOT A GENERAL FIRST AID COURSE, and will be tailored to the specific traumatic injuries due to a gunshot wound sustained these locations.

Although a medical class, everyday language will be used and the participant will have the ability to ask as many questions are desired. Participants will be exposed to a PowerPoint presentation with lecture and will have hands on training in the use of each item in an IFAK for both self-applied lifesaving measures and as a "buddy aid" lifesaving measure.

Discussion and questions will be encouraged and the use of items found on your person, in a car, or in everyday life will be discussed for use “in a pinch”, to accomplish aid intervention.
